INTRODUCTION: By the power of the cross God has already set us free from our old life, but even though we are free, we will still experience hardships, disappointments, and challenging times. God is in every season of our life, and He alone will guide us to get up and out of our circumstances.
NOTES:
God has already brought us up and out of our old life. (Israelites up and out of Egypt.)
Egypt represents our old life.
Promise land represents our eternal life.
We will go through disappointments.
Sometimes we need to confront our pain, sins, history, issues, relationships, and circumstances that are holding us back from walking in our purpose.
Moses needed to confront the things he ran away from, Pharaoh.
We are made by God to worship God and our worship is expected in the difficult seasons.
God brought the Israelites out of Egypt to worship.
It was not difficult for the Israelites to get out of Egypt. God wanted them to get out of their slave mentality.
Our thinking can sometimes limit our potential.
God has already set us free. We choose to hold on to the things that captivate us.
The Israelites’ mindsets were their biggest battle.
If we are in situations where we do not know what to do, we should worship God.
God makes the impossible possible and takes us through the most difficult seasons.
Going through difficult circumstances gives glory to God.
CONCLUSION: As we learn to hear God’s voice and trust His guidance, we will make it through circumstances we never thought we would, and just as He led the Israelites out, He can also lead us out of our darkest situations and set us on the right path for our life.
